Nick and Megan first met way back in 2nd grade at Brinkerhoff Elementary school. They were paired up as spelling & vocabulary partners, and from there started their many years of friendship.

After graduating from their respective colleges and moving back to the Hudson Valley, Nick and Megan continued their friendship. They enjoyed spending time together and adjusting to new routines of first (real) jobs and graduate school, and valuing time spent with old and new friends.

In August of 2020 Nick and Megan decided that maybe they were meant to be more than 'just friends,' and went out on their first official date. Since then, they have enjoyed spending their time together hiking, traveling, checking out new wineries and breweries, seeing a LOT of live music, and spending time with friends.

In January of 2024, Nick and Megan decided to really get serious and adopt a puppy together. George quickly became an integral part of the family, so much so that he ended up being a part of the proposal!

While seemingly going to take George for a walk on a beautiful autumn day, Nick had other plans in mind and surprised Megan with a perfect proposal in the gardens at Vanderbilt Mansion, one of their favorite places.

Now with only a few months to go until the wedding, Nick and Megan are excited to jump into this next step together, and to share this celebration with all of you! They cannot wait until May 15, 2026.
