Steven and Meghan met by chance while swiping on OKCupid. It was cuffing season, but both of them knew they wanted to date someone seriously if they were a good fit. Steven wrote Meghan but she didn't respond. Luckily, for Meghan, Steven persisted and wrote her again. This time, she was intrigued and she wrote him back. After a few days of texting back and forth, Meghan reached out to Steven on a whim and said "How about we meet up tonight?" to which Steven agreed. Little did they know, it would be a date that would mark their lives moving forward.

Steven and Meghan´s first date started at 8pm in this little Italian Coffee Shop called Caffè Reggio and moved to eating kati rolls in Washington Square Park. Steven would eventually cut his finger on a plastic knife and ask to go to a Walgreens for a bandaid. Yes, that really happened. Meghan found this odd yet humorous. On their walk back, they so naturally found themselves holding hands through the West Village. In true Meghan and Steven fashion, they stopped at Insomnia Cookies, talked about their experiences and eventually were stopped by a witch lady/psychic who told Meghan "I can tell, he gives you what you need". To this, they both smiled at each other and laughed it off.

Since it was the beginning of the holiday season, they walked and admired the lights, when Steven stopped and looked at Meghan and they shared their first kiss in front of a beautifully decorated antique shop. We promise, this did happen and isn´t only reserved for Hallmark Movies. They moved on to grab some beers and at around 2 am, finally went towards the train. Unluckily, the train stopped running for unknown reasons, so they took an Uber back to Brooklyn. Once in Williamsburg, they shared some hugs and kisses and Meghan went on her way home. Both left with a sense of awe at how well they meshed together and both were already looking forward to the next date.

This was their start. Since then, things have only continued to evolve. They have traveled to several parts of the world, Steven always supporting Meghan´s travel itch. Meghan, the planner, and Steven cheering her on and always willing to partake.

They have traveled to France, Spain, Hungary, Slovakia, Holland, Mexico, Romania, Croatia, and Canada. Always looking for new adventure.

They have been through job changes, beautiful moments, and dark moments alike. One thing that has never wavered: Meghan is the aggressive driver and Steven is the overly cautious driver, and, of course, their love for each other.

In all sincerity, they have worked together to support one another and look forward to the next chapter in their story. They look forward to celebrating each other´s successes, working through their struggles, and sharing this joyous moment with all of you.
