We are so very excited to invite you to our Wedding & Reception in Pittsburgh on a beautiful summer day - Friday, July 26, 2024!

Pittsburgh Wedding & Reception: This is our civil wedding, a brief signing ceremony followed by a celebratory dinner, drinks, and dancing at the Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens near the airport (not the Phipps Conservatory!) from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. An afterparty will follow at the Omni William Penn Hotel, Downtown, Pittsburgh.

Our Big Indian Wedding: Our traditional Indian wedding is all set for mid-November in Guwahati, Assam, India, to which you are also heartily welcome.

For everyone in town on Thursday, July 25, we will host a Welcome Dinner & Mehendi at the Omni Hotel from 7:00-11:00 p.m. when henna artists will be available to decorate your hands with henna art.

The wedding festivities will wrap on Saturday, July 27, 2024, with a cookout at Schenley Park -- from 4:00 p.m. till the sun sets over the Monongahela River and the Pittsburgh skyline.

Wedding Dress Code: We’re aiming for a vibrant and colorful celebration. Please wear colorful Indian or ethnic attire, or other colorful festive outfits you may prefer. (If you would like to find Indian clothes, get in touch and we’ll suggest places that can help.) For the Saturday Cookout in Schenley Park, dress casually for summer fun in the park.

Accommodation: We have two hotels with rooms blocked at special rates for our wedding guests. The Omni William Penn Hotel, Downtown is in the heart of Pittsburgh’s business and cultural district. The Omni is also the venue for Thursday’s Welcome dinner and the Afterparty on Friday. The Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Hotel is much closer to the airport and the wedding venue for tight schedules.
