We went to high school together, but it wasn't until sophomore year got cut short due to Covid, that we really ever started hanging out.

Gibson's dad, Dan, was building an addition to Mya's house and Gibson would come and help. Our relationship started to spark through the many water bottles Mya would pass Gibson through her window.

We started dating June 16th, 2020! Since then, we have made so many memories and been on numerous adventures. Junior year and senior year of high school was full of traveling to every football game, track meet, and cross country meet. Lots of homecomings, winter balls, and proms together.

Then we graduated high school together and went off to college! Gibson has since graduated and started his full time job selling insurance and Mya will graduate in December with her teaching degree.

In the midst of our busy schedules, we have found time and a love for traveling together (road trips especially!). We have had the opportunity to travel to New Mexico, Fort Worth Texas (x2!), Colorado, Wyoming, Yellowstone, Glacier National Park, Lake Tahoe, and South Dakota. We have so many places on our bucket list to see together.

It is still so crazy to think that we are going to marry each other this year! From high school sweethearts to fiances, and shortly husband and wife!
