Reenactment of the first night Josh and Natalie met - at a mutual friend's post-Christmas party in Charlotte. Natalie wore a striking batman onesie that she won during a game of dirty santa, and Josh showed off his manly war wound earned by chopping wood earlier in the day. The connection was apparent to everyone as they talked and danced all night. The next weekend Natalie convinced Josh to come from Hendersonville to Charlotte to see her. And the weekend after that, and the weekend after that...

Josh and Natalie fell in love on hiking trips.

Sooo many hiking dates. But don't worry, Natalie never stooped to camping ;)

Josh left Natalie for Alaska, and Natalie had to make do on her own.

They got to know each other over phone calls, letters, and the occasional selfie. At least when Josh wasn't busy working in Alaska or backpacking in Nepal.

When he returned they were inseparable. Natalie convinced Josh to move from Hendersonville to Charlotte and he accepted the "Big City" life he had always so disdained.

Natalie shocked him with her costumes.

Josh impressed her with his dance moves.

The next year Josh convinced Natalie to come work in Alaska for a season. They knew this would make or break the relationship...

But the quarrelsome lovebirds survived another day to travel the world together.
