This story (kinda sorta) dates back to August 28 2022, the day they first made eye contact - also Hiral (Nikesh’s cousin) and Bhavya’s wedding. Not much happened, actually…nothing at all happened. There was quite a bit of interest (mostly from Nikesh) but no actions were taken.

Fast forward to a year later when the wedding video came out and Nikesh saw Yachna again on screen. He couldn’t help it and immediately slid into Yachna’s DMs to shoot his shot (technically Teddy’s Instagram - Yachna’s dog), but Yachna didn't think much of it so things fizzled quickly.

A few months later, a trip to Germany was planned by Hiral and Nikita (Yachna’s sister), which both Nikesh and Yachna decided to go on. Little did Yachna know, she was the main reason for Nikesh going on this trip. Nikesh flew in from Toronto, and Yachna from New Jersey…and they finally met (for real this time) in Munich - and that was the actual beginning to this love story. They hit it off on the very first day of the trip at Oktoberfest and the rest was history.

After the Germany trip they met up for a small trip and continued to form a deeper connection. Since then they knew they were perfect for each other. They would talk every day, met up several times and had endless FaceTime chats. Even though the distance kept them physically apart, they managed to grow closer than ever.

Exploring 5 countries within 4 months really allowed them to create such beautiful memories, making it feel as if they’d known each other for a lifetime already. Even though it hadn’t been long, Nikesh knew she was the one for him and couldn't wait any longer. He proposed to Yachna at the peak of a beautiful mountain in Rajasthan. At this point they were just so excited that they considered to elope and get married in India! (Just kidding) They quickly proceeded to set a date for the wedding, and here we are!
