Wedding Clearance

photo

Memorial Chapel within Fort Myer military base

Q: Why is a clearance needed to Enter the Wedding?

A: We’re having the August 9th wedding at a historic venue on Fort Myer military base to celebrate Julian and his family's generations of military history. There’s a simple clearance required to get onto the base.

International Guests & non-US citizens

There is no online option for non-US citizens, but we were able to get a favor to get everyone pre-approved!

Please send a clear picture of your Passport photo page to Ogue on WhatsApp +1 571-405-1740 by *April 20th*, so we can start the pre-approvals.

Ogue will gather the physical passes before the wedding and have them available for you.

This will make the wedding day simpler and easier for all of you! ❤️

US Citizen Guests

** If 18+ without a drivers license, please see International Guest instructions

All 18+ will need to fill a 5 minute online form two weeks before the wedding, then your pass to Fort Myer will be sent by email with subject headline "Your Pass to JMBHH"

We will send the website link and reminders closer to the wedding.

You'll need SSN and Drivers License for the form

How to get onto Fort Myer

On the wedding day, first go to the Hatfield Gate visitors entrance, show your pass, then you can keep to the right lane to enter the base

Note: Military ID holders can go to any gate

Hatfield Gate -- Visitors Entrance

29 Carpenter Rd, Fort Myer, VA 22211

Then navigate to Fort Myer Memorial Chapel: turn right on Carpenter Rd, then left on McNair Rd. The chapel is on the right

Fort Myer Memorial Chapel - 1 minute drive from Hatfield Gate

101 McNair Rd, Fort Myer, VA 22211

We recommend Carpooling since Uber drivers won't have passes to be allowed in.

More details to come on a potential shuttle onto base for those without cars
