It all started in 3rd grade... but Peter doesn't remember that part.

While they grew up alongside each other, Sophia and Peter became friends in earnest around 11th grade, when they participated in Science Olympiads together.

In early April of 2016, they officially started dating. Now, almost 9 years later, they will be getting married back on Long Island, where it all began. That isn't to say they haven't had quite a few adventures in between...

Including 8 years of long distance. While Peter went to Northeastern University and stayed in Boston to pursue the tech industry, Sophia went to Barnard College and then Albert Einstein for medical school.

In separate environments with strong support systems to bloom as individuals, they managed to travel and see each other to continue growing together as a couple. On Match Day of 2024, they finally settled in together in Stony Brook where they live now. Come visit!
