Who knew Zoom could be a dating platform! Ben and Peyton's story began virtually at a student organization at UT Austin in the fall of 2020. Ben spotted Peyton on Zoom during a general meeting and the rest is history!

One of Ben and Peyton’s favorite memories is their first date. Rewind to January 30, 2021, mid pandemic, Ben took Peyton to a small coffee shop in East Austin called Greater Goods. The pictures featured below are captured in Greater Goods - spoiler alert - at their engagement photoshoot and not their actual first date!

Covid restrictions made first date logistics tricky! Long story short, the closed restrooms at Greater Goods led to Ben and Peyton moving locations halfway through the date. The spontaneous adventure included: driving all over Austin, Ben leaving his debit card at the P. Terry’s drive thru, and chatting about their Harry Potter houses. Throughout the date, they felt so at ease with one another it was like they’d always known each other!
