Michael and Rebecca were both raised in Georgia. Even though their hometowns are only two hours a part, they didn't meet until they both lived in El Paso, Texas while working for Casas por Cristo. What unites Rebecca and Michael is their love for the Lord and serving others.

Michael began working at Casas por Cristo in 2019, and Rebecca joined the ministry in 2022. The two were friends for almost a year before Michael gained the courage to ask Rebecca out. Their first date was axe throwing and dinner at Taco Neta, arguably their favorite restaurant in El Paso.

As much as Michael and Rebecca enjoy going out to eat, they also love cooking together and hosting friends for dinner. They make a great team inside and outside the kitchen! Michael and Rebecca also enjoy all things sports. One of their favorite teams is the Atlanta Braves. Michael's favorite sport to play is golf, and Rebecca loves joining him on the course with a good book.

As Michael and Rebecca look forward to their future together, they are excited to start their life as a married couple back in Georgia. Family is very important to both of them, so they're thankful that God brought them back to Georgia as they join the Vo and Thompson families together through their marriage!
