If you'd like to check out the Rose Garden across the street, we recommend doing that BEFORE the ceremony. This will allow you to depart for the Reception in Excelsior (~30 minute drive) right after the ceremony.



Parking Lot available for ceremony parking - Pick up a Parking Pass near the entryway of the lot & place it on your car's dashboard for free parking.





Reception Information

Evening dinner cruise aboard the Paradise Destiny II, a 70-foot motor-yacht on Lake Minnetonka.

Please arrive at the Port of Excelsior docks in Excelsior, MN to board the Paradise Destiny II boat at 6:15pm.


The Paradise Destiny II boat will depart promptly at 6:30pm.


The boat will return to the dock at 9:30pm.

Where should I park?

Reception Parking


FREE Parking - Free parking is available to the public behind the buildings in the EAST LOT on the east & side of the 200 block of Water Street (behind Excelsior Brewing Company). The area is highlighted in the map above. After 6:00 pm, a 12-hour parking limit is enforced in the six-hour parking areas.


Pay to Park - Pay for parking is available adjacent to the Commons & extends south on Lake Street & on Excelsior Boulevard. See photo above. Parking stations require your license plate number. Parking payments are enforced with wireless devices so there is no need to place your receipt on the vehicle dashboard. The pay stations accept card only.

What should I wear?

The dress code is cocktail attire.


Ideas: Blazers, dress shirts, pantsuits, dressy jumpsuits, or a dress of any length you like!


On the Paradise Destiny II, the upper & lower enclosed decks are climate controlled.

Will the Boat sail, rain or shine?

Yes! In the case of severe weather conditions or upon direction of the U.S. Coast Guard or National Weather Service, the boat may remain dockside until weather conditions improve. Weather patterns change & severe weather usually passes quickly.
