Their journey began 13 years ago, when they found each other through bowling. Both seniors in high school, Ryan, a formidable bowler and team captain, and Chelsea, fortunate enough to reach the state level with her team, found their paths intersecting. A chance encounter at Ryans Graduation Party, marked by an unexpected football to the head for Chelsea, seemed like a comic twist of fate. Yet, spurred on by a friends encouragement, Chelsea took the leap, continuing to engage with Ryan, leading to their first date.

Their initial outing sparked a cascade of adventures. From carnival escapades to Fourth of July fireworks, they found joy in each others company, officially becoming a couple on July 4th, 2011. Their journey continued through college at Eastern Michigan University, where bowling remained a shared passion, with Chelsea joining Ryan in a youth travel league.

Their bond only deepened over the years, from sharing an apartment with Chelseas sister Amber, and her boyfriend at the time, Tyler, to purchasing their first home together in Taylor in 2020. And after a dozen years together, culminating in a surprise proposal on an Alaskan cruise, they eagerly anticipate sharing their vows with loved ones this September, marking the next chapter in their enduring love story.
