How It All Started 

It all started at a party neither of us really wanted to be at. We ended up at the beer pong table, first as rivals (Robyn won, of course), and later as teammates. That's when Ryan leaned over and whispered, "I like us better on the same team". Looking back, that moment said it all.We officially met in May 2023, and while Robyn insisted we should "just be friends," Ryan had other plans. A few months (and plenty of persistence) later, September rolled around and we finally made it official.Since then, our love has grown through life's big adventures and the little everyday moments we cherish most like cooking in the kitchen together, sharing late-night teas, and laughing until our cheeks hurt.There was also a moment of reassurance we'll never forget. One evening, Robyn stood watching the sunset with her friends and quietly asked her Gramma in heaven for a sign that she had made the right choice. As they turned to leave, there it was "R2" spelled out in the sand with rocks. It was the most unexpected, perfect reminder that love is guided and blessed in ways we can't always explain.Then came the proposal, a day we'll cherish forever. In the heart of Quebec City, Ryan got down on one knee, and through happy tears and laughter, Robyn gave an instant yes!Now, we're counting down the days until we say"I do." We couldn't imagine celebrating this milestone without the people who mean the most to us. Thank you for being part of our journey and we can't wait to begin forever with you by our side.

Meg has always been one of Robyn’s greatest role models. As cousins who grew up more like sisters, Robyn has looked up to Meg with pride and admiration from the very beginning. Their relationship is one of the most meaningful in Robyn’s life—Meg is not only her cousin but also one of her best friends and biggest supporters. Together, they bring out the best in each other, and when they’re side by side, it’s like a whirlwind of laughter and energy. To everyone who knows them, they’re the real twins of the family.

Alexis was Robyn’s very first friend—they met in junior kindergarten and have been inseparable ever since. From childhood memories to every major milestone, Alexis has always been by Robyn’s side. Their bond goes beyond friendship; they’re truly like sisters from another mister, sharing a lifetime of laughs, love, and unwavering support. Over the years, Alexis has become part of the family, always showing up for celebrations and special moments, making her place in Robyn’s life undeniable.

Jayme is one of Robyn’s best friends, and their story began on the soccer field. But their connection runs even deeper—their dads were buddies growing up, so it feels like their friendship was always meant to be. Jayme and Robyn share a bond unlike any other, the kind where they can communicate with just a look and always know what the other needs. She is one of the most important people in Robyn’s life, and their friendship is truly irreplaceable.

Montana and Robyn share a feisty, sister-like friendship—full of playful fights but even more love. Their bond started on the soccer field, first as opponents and later as teammates, where their friendship truly took off. Even though distance separates them now, whenever they’re together it feels like nothing has ever changed. Montana is one of Robyn’s best friends and someone she can always count on for endless laughs and unforgettable moments.

Shania is one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. She and Robyn first connected on the soccer field, growing up as teammates and carrying their friendship into adulthood. Shania has a heart of gold—always ready with a listening ear and comforting presence. She’s the kind of friend who can lift any spirit and make those around her feel truly cared for.

Mackenzie may have come into Robyn’s life later, but from the start it felt like they had known each other forever. In a short time, they’ve already created countless memories together, and Mack’s warmth and kindness shine through in everything she does. She has a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved, which makes her such a special part of Robyn’s life.

Carlie is Robyn’s soon-to-be sister-in-law, and over the years they’ve grown close. Dating twins meant they naturally did everything together—even living under the same roof at one point, where Carlie taught Robyn how to cook. She’s always up for a fun girls’ night, and through countless memories and laughs, Carlie has become more than just family—she’s one of Robyn’s good friends.

Matt is Ryan’s womb-mate and former room-mate—you truly can’t know one without the other. They’ve been inseparable from the very beginning, sharing a bond that no one else could ever fully understand. Matt is Ryan’s biggest supporter, his trusted secret-keeper, and his best friend for life.

Mitch (aka Brooks) is truly one of a kind—his energy is unmatched and his friendship means the world to Ryan. As one of Ryan’s closest friends, they’ve built countless memories together, and it’s rare for a day to go by without a phone call between them. Mitch is not only a constant source of laughter and good times, but also someone Ryan trusts deeply for advice and support.

Shane is one of Ryan’s great friends, always up for a good time and the kind of guy you can count on to bring laughter wherever he goes. Beyond the fun, Shane genuinely cares about the people in his life, and his loyalty and good-hearted nature make him a friend everyone is lucky to have.

Kyle is one of Ryan’s childhood best friends. They grew up playing road hockey, getting into trouble, and making endless memories along the way. Their bond is more like brotherhood, built on years of laughter, loyalty, and unforgettable adventures. Kyle is also one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet, and his friendship has been a constant in Ryan’s life.

Kevin used to babysit the boys, but over time he became more like an older brother. As Ryan grew up, their bond shifted into a true friendship—one built on respect, laughter, and countless memories. Kevin and Ryan share a brotherhood, and Ryan looks up to him in ways words could never fully capture.

Mitch (aka Gunner) and Ryan met in high school, but their friendship truly grew on the shores of Lake huron. From countless boat days to nonstop laughs (and a little trouble along the way), Mitch has always been someone who could light up any moment. He’s the kind of friend who can always make Ryan laugh and turn any day into a good one.

Jordan and Ryan go way back to their triple A hockey days. As one of Ryan’s lifelong buddies, Jordan has been there through it all. He’s a natural jokester and someone Ryan can always count on for fun, laughs, and great memories.

Where is the ceremony and reception?Both will take place at Ivey Spencer, no need to travel between venues! Everything (ceremony, cocktails, dinner, and dancing) will be outdoors, so come ready to enjoy some fresh air and good vibes. What time should I arrive?Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the ceremony to find your seat, and settle in before we say "I do". How long will the ceremony be?Short and sweet - just like us hehe What happens after the ceremony?We'll roll right into cocktails, dinner, and dancing. What should I wear?Think garden party anything classy, chic, and comfortable enough to dance in. We'd love to see everyone dressed to impress while keeping it light for an outdoor evening celebration. Are kids invited?As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Consider it your well-deserved night out! Can I bring a plus one?As much as we'd love to celebrate with everyone, we're keeping our guest list intimate and are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation.
