OUR STORY

Sagun and Devesh first crossed paths at a mutual friend's (Nimar's) birthday. Sagun was amused by the 'fake non-alcoholic beer' Devesh was drinking and Devesh was amused by the Doritos in Sagun's red party cup. Through a game of table tennis, the two got to know each other better and neither of them conveniently, will admit to losing the game of table tennis that night.

From there, their first date was on Saturday, 18 July 2020. Devesh planned an evening of axe throwing to show off how terrible his throwing skills were and to his surprise, Sagun was no better. They both came last and second-last in a group competition of eight. At this point, they knew they were made for each other!

Devesh proposed on 28 December 2023 in Sapa (northern region of Vietnam) during their holiday. Sagun was grumpy, cold and tired because Devesh had taken her to the wrong street markets, and the only thing on Devesh's mind was how do I get her Infront of Sapa Lake to propose. After securing a beanie, gloves and earmuffs, the time was right, the grumpiness had gone down. Devesh recorded as he asked Sagun to face the other way and turn around on the count of 3. The rest is history and now it's time to celebrate the wedding!
