Sarah and Garrett's honeymoon is a 2-week adventure to Albania! Garrett is a well-versed traveler who has seen a lot of the world, but Albania was never a place he thought to explore, considering the country's difficult past times. It was a recent conversation with a co-worker that sparked Garrett's idea for the honeymoon.

Sarah and Garrett began to learn how one of the most isolated, backward, and poorest European nations rose from the depths of political and economic turmoil, and came to be the upper-middle class nation full of significant, overall growth and beauty. Because Albania was cut off from rest of the world and had been off the tourist radar for so long, Albania will be playing a lot of catch-up to match the rest of the world's socioeconomic status and infrastructure. However, because of the country's current and unique situation, it opened a great opportunity for Garrett and Sarah to explore so much of Albania and what it has to offer early in the country's overall development (plus, not as much tourism and way cheaper right now compared to the rest of Europe, making it more intimate and fun!) The Albanian soil is rich with so much gorgeous heritage, various climates, and unfamiliar history to the rest of the world, waiting to be explored from all aspects and regions. Garrett and Sarah cannot wait to start this journey together that they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

Some of their plans consist of swimming, snorkeling, and a boat ride to secluded beaches and coves in Himarë and Sazan Island; which are between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas off the bay of Vlorë. They'll fly into Tirana, the capital of Albania, and explore its monuments, shops, and art museums. They'll make their way down south and hike the Southern Mountain Ranges and pursue the many war bunkers and tunnels in Llogara, Gjirokastra, and several others all over Albania. There will be much sightseeing of the many medieval-era castles, Ottoman architectures, and enjoyment of exotic beaches and views across other regions like, Berat, Sarandë, Dhërmi, and Himarë. As well as, some well-needed massages from a spa or two and lots of wonderful nights in and out to unwind.

In regards to food, they'll be indulging in the extraordinary Mediterranean, Greek, and Italian cuisine with locally made beer and wine made in one of the oldest wine-producing countries in the world. A honeymoon wouldn't be complete without stunning sunrises and sunsets to look out to, as they stay on the western shoreline and mountainous regions in 8 different breathtaking and unique hotel-restaurants around the regions. They will spend 2 days at each hotel and region, enjoying plentiful relaxation as they sit back, explore, and cruise along in their car to their next destination.
