For those of you who don’t know, Shane and I first met back in 2015. We were both with other people at the time but shared a mutual friendship through our riding crew. Little did we know, this was just the beginning of a beautiful journey. Fast forward to 2018, and here’s where the story really began.

Mikel Myers practically begged me to hang out with Shane. I had just told him that I wasn’t ready to start seeing anyone, but somehow, the next thing I knew, Mikel and Shane were in the driveway of my mom's house, ready to pick me up. After some convincing, I went along. And from that moment on, it was like we had never left each other's lives. Days turned into weeks, and before I knew it, we were basically living together.

In those early days, I had the privilege of meeting Makenna – Shane’s incredibly spunky, smart, and funny six-year-old daughter. At the time, I had no idea just how much Shane and Makenna would change my life. What I didn't know back then was that they would become the start of the family every little girl dreams of. A dream and a life that would allow us to add two sweet boys to our growing family. Maverick and Myles and land us our dream property and the foundation of “home”.

Looking back, it’s crazy to think that, just eight years later, we’re here today planning our wedding day, celebrating this love story that’s grown into something even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.
