In September of 2022, Nic and Sierra began talking through an online dating app and met for the first time in October. When they met it was an instant connection and they have been inseparable ever since. As time grew on, the connection and love grew and within five months they moved in together with their three cats; Long-Hair, No-Tail, and Kyo.

After celebrating their one-year anniversary, Nic took Sierra hiking at Gibraltar Rock County Park where they stood on the edge of the rocks and he proposed. There was no hesitation when Sierra said, "Yes!". As their love story continues, they would like to celebrate with those close to them, friends and family, in an intimate ceremony and reception.
