In 2018, We were both on team Rouge, at San antonio Spirit. As the season came to an end, we started running together, and our connection was instant. What began as a shared experience in the same stunt group evolved into something more profound during our post-season casual runs, marking the beginning of a unique and beautiful journey.

What started as a summer fling turned into a long-distance adventure. Over a year, we covered the miles between Lubbock and San Antonio for family weekends, holidays, and sometimes, we would meet halfway in San Angelo even if it was just for a few hours.

The summer of 2019 marked a significant chapter as we closed the gap. Moving into a condo in the heart of the San Antonio Medical Center, we officially started our journey together in the same place.

Amidst the challenges of a pandemic, we found joy in adopting our first puppy - Baby Vida! She brought so much warmth and happiness into our lives during the peak of COVID.

Over the next three years, we became each other's biggest supporters. Skylar completed her bachelor's degree at UTSA, and William finished his doctoral program and residency at UIW. Through ups and downs, our love and encouragement prevailed.

On our 5th anniversary, at the Gristmill in New Braunfels, Will took the next step in our journey. With both our families present, he proposed, making that day unforgettable. The beginning of a new chapter.
