Who would have thought it all started with a right swipe? It was September 2022 when our paths first crossed, and little did we know that a simple swipe would change the course of our lives forever.

It all began when I bought my house in Clarksville. A home that needed a little love and care, and luckily, I met someone who could help – Matt. The handyman that he is, he offered to lend a hand with a few projects around the house. But, let’s just say… they didn’t go as planned. Each attempt seemed to fall a little short, but it wasn’t entirely his fault! Looking back, I definitely made it harder than it needed to be. I ordered door locks off Amazon that didn’t fit, I didn’t have the proper setup for the Ring camera, and those curtain rods? Way too long! I guess I was a bit of a challenge! But through all the mishaps, there was laughter and a growing bond. It was clear we both had something special, even if my house was still a work in progress.

Over the past two years, we’ve become each other’s best friend. Our relationship has blossomed into something beautiful, built on trust, respect, and a lot of love. We’ve grown close to each other’s families, forming connections that feel just as strong as the one we share. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, and we’ve made memories that will last a lifetime.

Our adventures together have taken us places far and wide. From road trips to endless hikes, we’ve covered more miles than I can count. It was on one of these hikes, in the breathtaking beauty of South Lake Tahoe, where Matt made the moment unforgettable. He planned a special trip for us, filled with love, laughter, and the peace of nature. After a beautiful day of hiking, we reached the top of Maggie's Peak. Surrounded by the incredible scenery, Matt got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I was overwhelmed with joy and could hardly believe it! In that moment, I felt like the luckiest girl in the world, knowing I would be spending forever with my best friend.

From our humble beginnings to this next chapter, we’ve learned that love isn’t always perfect, but it’s always worth it. We can’t wait to share this incredible journey with all of you, and we’re so excited for what the future holds. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and happily ever after. 💍

We are legally married as of March 1, 2025. We had a small intimate ceremony with just my dad and Matt's mom present. We could not have asked for a more special day and having them by our side. Now we are just excited to exchange our vows in the beautiful Crete, Greece!
