Andrew and Steph got engaged on Steph's birthday, March 27, 2019. We know you all love a good "how we met" and "how the engagement went down" story, but that's old news now :)In mid March of 2020, just two weeks before the bachelor/bachelorette parties and two&nbsp;months before the wedding, news circulated about the outbreak of COVID-19. At first, Andrew and Steph remained positive, as it was probably going to be fine. However, they knew it&nbsp;was serious when SPORTS were canceled! Sadly, they each canceled their bachelor/bachelorette parties which were both scheduled for the last weekend of March. They hoped that COVID-19 wouldn't affect their wedding plans, but thought, "There is NO way...it's too far away!"The last weekend of March rolled around, and they celebrated Steph's 30th birthday in quarantine (props to her bachelorette girls for sending a beautiful gift basket!). That weekend, they also learned of the 8-week shelter in place order for Georgia, which would end right on their wedding weekend. They then decided it was best for the safety of their guests and themselves to cancel the wedding.&nbsp;The following weeks were&nbsp;filled with emails and phone calls to the vendors, trying to problem solve and amend contracts. Planning was very difficult because there was no exact answer as to&nbsp;when it would be safe to hold the wedding, or even the reception. After many Zoom and phone meetings, Andrew and Steph decided that they&nbsp;would still get married on their planned date but only with the Rabbi, their parents,&nbsp;&nbsp;Andrew's sister Lauren, and her fiance Alex.&nbsp;After quarantining with Andrew's family for over a month, the wedding day finally arrived. Andrew, true to form, slept until noon or so while Steph bounced right out of bed before 8 am and had a day full of Facetiming with her bridesmaids, mimosas, and taking photos of her bridal pajamas and rings.&nbsp; Steph's parents got to do a "first look" via Facetime as they finished their drive from South Florida.&nbsp;In true Atlanta summer fashion, it was very humid and stormy while driving to Etz Chaim, the temple at which the wedding was taking place. Luckily, the rain stopped right as everyone arrived! All family members&nbsp;arrived dressed up in their wedding attire, masks and all.&nbsp;Rabbi Dorsch was kind enough to modify the traditional Jewish ceremony so that he could maintain his 6 feet from Andrew and Steph under the Chuppah. He and Alex acted as witnesses to sign the Ketubah, and the ceremony flowed beautifully.Afterward, Andrew and Steph were greeted with a giant banner that Steph's parents had made, congratulating them on their marriage. In the parking lot, they found Chris and Megan, who would have&nbsp;been Andrew's best man and one of Steph's bridesmaids, in their car with friends on Zoom.&nbsp;To avoid having a&nbsp;gathering, Andrew and Steph went home&nbsp;by themselves and had Fogo de Chao and champagne for dinner, followed by making their own chocolate wedding cake. Obviously they missed their friends and family, but truly enjoyed getting to spend their first moments of marriage together and be fully present with each other.To make things even more exciting and non-conventional, they had the inspection for their first home the next morning! They closed on the house in mid June and moved in by the beginning of July. What a wild ride!Obviously it wasn't the day they had planned for, however they felt so lucky that they were both healthy and still able to get married on their planned date. Their story is proof that love always wins.&nbsp;They are now looking forward to celebrating with all of you on August 28, 2021, and giving everyone lots of long overdue&nbsp;hugs! Steph is also quite excited to FINALLY&nbsp;wear her dress (*cue Andrew rolling his eyes*)!&nbsp;&nbsp;#loveconquerscovid #stephscohnforit

Andrew and Chris met on their baseball team at the age of 12. Over the years, they went on to play for separate high school, college, and minor league teams but continued to keep in touch. They connected again while living in Atlanta, and have stayed close since then. They always enjoy hanging out with a few cold beers, and the sports game on.

Liz and Steph go WAY back! They have actually known each other since kindergarten, mostly&nbsp;through team sports and mutual friends. However, they became close quickly when they started&nbsp;carpooling together for an AP&nbsp;class and volleyball practice at the beginning of&nbsp;their senior year of high school. They discovered that they had much more in common including going to the beach, scuba diving, and of course eating!Since then, Liz and Steph have maintained their friendship even while going to college and grad school in different states. They religiously plan annual vacations together and have since included their significant others in the fun as well. They still plan to keep their nicknames for each other, "Wifey," even though they now have to share each other with their husbands :)&nbsp;

Megan and Steph met three years ago&nbsp;when Megan started dating her now husband, who happened to be Andrew’s&nbsp;friend and now Best Man, Chris. Steph, Andrew, and Chris were at Hudson Grill in Brookhaven with friends when Chris invited Megan to meet us...however, Chris accidentally sent her to the wrong Hudson Grill! He's never gonna live that down ;)&nbsp;&nbsp;Steph and Megan immediately hit it off and the two couples have enjoyed double dates since then, especially when Chris and Megan's three dogs are around (shout out to Sandy).&nbsp;Megan and Steph now also share a slight (ha...) obsession with running, and Steph's goal is to get her into triathlons! Megan is always a great friend and the future Cohns are excited to have the "Kay Double Play" in their wedding party!&nbsp;

Erica and Steph met in summer 2012 when they started physical therapy school at Emory University. Erica actually FaceBook messaged Steph prior to moving to Atlanta to see if she wanted to be her roommate, but Steph had already committed to another classmate.&nbsp;They lived in the same apartment building and carpooled along with their roommates every day to and from class. Steph and Erica became quick friends as they both discovered their love for fitness, peanut butter, bar hopping, and all kinds of humor.&nbsp;

Steph and Erica have since lived "parallel lives" as they both started dating their&nbsp;significant others at the same time and seemed to progress similarly in their relationships. They have stayed close over the years while living in Atlanta, and Steph was a bridesmaid in Erica's wedding as well.

Walter entered Andrew’s life several years ago through mutual friends. Over the years, they continued to stick together in Atlanta and ended up building a tight group of guys through attending sporting events, hitting the basketball court at LA Fitness, and some entertaining Atlanta nights out. It was actually Walter’s pregame where Andrew first met Steph.

Shannon and Steph actually first met at their interview for physical therapy school at Emory University in early 2012. Little did they know that they would later get into Emory and link up on Student Doctor Network, leading them to become roommates all through physical therapy school. They were known to host all of the wild grad school pregames at their apartment, but were also great study buddies and friends&nbsp;all through school.Despite Shannon moving from Atlanta after school, they have still stayed close and Shannon enjoys visiting Atlanta whenever she can. Shannon has become a "third roommate," and refers to Steph and Andrew as "mom and dad."&nbsp;

Andrew and Bo met through Andrew’s groomsman Walter, as well as other mutual friends. Bo and Andrew have enjoyed many good times out in Buckhead as well as playing flag football, hitting the gym, and of course sports talk.

Lauren and Steph met at their interview for physical therapy school at Emory University in early 2012, and were actually in the same group interview! Steph remembers enjoying conversation with Lauren, and they would later become friends upon starting school in summer 2012.&nbsp;

After school, Lauren and Steph eventually moved into apartments less than one mile away from each other. Since then they have&nbsp;enjoyed pool days, movie and wine nights, and of course occasionally visiting each other for free physical therapy sessions!

Andrew met Ryan while playing baseball at Emory University. He and Ryan immediately bonded over their ridiculous love of Atlanta sports (#FILA), and not much has changed since then. Andrew and Ryan are partners in crime when it comes to the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, and Georgia Bulldogs. They never seem to miss a beat even after Ryan moved from Atlanta.

Jake and Andrew became quick friends through work – Andrew started his job at Anheuser-Busch while Jake was working for Live Nation, and the two crossed paths. With such compatible personalities, they hit it off right away. Even after moving from Atlanta, Jake and Andrew still try to visit whenever possible.

Mary and Steph met in fall 2008 as freshman year roommates at Florida State University. They knew they were going to hit it off as soon as they started unpacking, both revealing the same pink dorm decorations and even the same skin care products! They shared late nights either studying or partying, tried to share shoes (Steph couldn't handle Mary's pageant girl stilettos), and unfortunately even shared a mono diagnosis just months after moving in!Over the years, Mary and Steph have continued to keep in touch and reunite in Florida whenever possible. They never seem to miss a beat, especially when there's vodka involved ;)

Mary Love

Andrew met Steven while working at a sports camp the summer before college and discovered that they were both going to Emory. They stayed friends at Emory, and Andrew got to be an “honorary member” of Steven’s fraternity every now and then. Since college, even though Steven moved away, the two have stayed close and enjoy getting together for trips to Atlantic City whenever possible.

This is the largest airport with many flight options. The airport is a&nbsp;20-30 minute drive&nbsp;from midtown&nbsp;Atlanta without traffic. The MARTA train is highly recommended to avoid traffic - you can access MARTA&nbsp;right inside the airport and take the red or gold line NORTH to either Midtown or North Avenue station if you are staying at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Ubers and MARTA buses are available to transport you from the station to the hotel or you can walk.&nbsp;

The MARTA&nbsp;train runs the course of Atlanta and surrounding areas,&nbsp;and is a quick and easy way to avoid traffic. You can purchase a Breeze card at any MARTA&nbsp;station, and you can keep loading trips on it as needed. Ubers and MARTA&nbsp;buses are available at each station to take you to your destination.
