Stephanie and Dmitriy met at an ugly sweater party at a local bar in Syracuse, NY. Stephanie was wearing her ugly red sweater with a sunglass-wearing fuzzy llama, and Dmitriy said to his friends "See that girl over there? She's gonna be my WIFE."

Covid lockdown began a few months later and Steph and Dmitriy found themselves spending a lot of time together, both sharing a passion for outdoor adventures. They shared an apartment for their last year of schooling at Upstate Medical, and following graduation moved to Long Island together so Dmitriy could pursue his Orthopedic residency.

The past few years have been very busy with work, great vacations, and road trips to spend time with loved ones. While they don't know where they will move to next, one thing for sure is that it will be together.
