We met in 2009 at Nicks cousin Shane's 8th grade graduation party. We started a friendship and would text all of the time. Who would've thought on that day we were meeting our soulmate. Although we texted all of the time Tara was always too nervous to say hi or even speak to Nick in-person. Finally in August of 2010 she decided to say "hi" to Nick in person and we decided to hang out.

We started hanging out almost every day and went on a date to see "Easy-A" at the riverview movie theater. In October of 2010 Nick asked me to be his girlfriend by getting down on one knee. We have been together ever since and through the years we grew as individuals and as a couple.

After almost 13 years of being together Nick FINALLY decided he was going to propose. He had the perfect proposal planned with the help of our families and best friends. We would be getting engaged on the beach during Irish weekend and then have our families to celebrate with us after. If you know me and Nick you know that anything that could go wrong will go wrong and this proposal was no different. A tropical cyclone was going to hit wildwood the weekend of our proposal and there was a 100% chance of rain on the Saturday it was supposed to happen. Nick made a gametime decision Friday morning to move the proposal to Friday and all of our loved ones got to work. While I was being distracted with orange crushes at Westside Saloon, everyone was getting the Northwind motel set up for a proposal. We got our uber back and there waiting was an archway of roses and music playing in the background. Nick said "I'm just going to do it" got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and of course I said YES! It was the most imperfectly perfect proposal and we will tell this story for years to come.

Our big day is FINALLY arriving and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of our loved ones!
