Tess and Tyler have known each other since they were about 8 years old, thanks to their younger brothers playing on the same T-ball team! They would occasionally see each other at the annual baseball parties or when their families would hang out. When Tess was a freshman in highschool, she needed a ride home so her mom reached out to Tyler's mom and asked if he would like to make some money by taking Tess and her brother, Jack, home. Tyler then started taking Tess and Jack home and that lasted about a month before he decided he wanted to ask Tess out. Obviously, she said yes and they started dating February 8th, 2014! They quickly became inseparable and spent all of their free time either hanging with friends/family, going to the lake, or going to Telluride. Throughout college they continued to grow closer, despite attending different universities, and would see each other on the weekends. After their graduations, Tess and Tyler moved back to Houston and started working. They had planned a trip to Telluride at the end of August (2021) to show Kenlea and Catherine one of their favorite places and enjoy some beautiful weather. Tyler surprised them all by proposing to Tess at town park where they had ice skated the first time they went to Telluride! Now they are about to start their forever and couldn't be happier!
