We first met at an Honors House event at Alfred University, in our freshman year of college, and started talking on the porch. This was a picture of the first time we met!

We started eating meals together and hanging out more and more. Eventually, we started dating at the beginning of the second semester in our freshman year. We continued to date for more years to come!

On September 9, the proposal happened at Beaver Lake during the Autumn Festival, on one of the nature trails
