How It Happened
TJ and Lauren met in January of 2022. Shortly after exchanging information, Lauren was texting TJ about a bad day at work. TJ texted, "want to meet for a drink?" At the same time, Lauren had texted "so are we meeting for a drink or what?"
The next three nights, they went to the same bar, sat in the same seats, and talked for hours. Little did they know, they would be inseparable from that point forward and a bond would form that neither saw coming.
Squad Goals
TJ has three kids: Londyn (12), Colbie (11) and Roman (8). These three beautiful humans were introduced to Lauren on April 9, 2022 at Roman's soccer game. Turns out, the kids were just as nervous to meet Lauren as she was to meet them, but it couldn't have gone better! Roman asked if Lauren could join them at Chic-Fil-A, and they all ended up playing basketball back in TJ's neighborhood. The Gipson squad was formed and Lauren's heart expanded more than she thought possible.
Lovers and Friends
TJ and Lauren have what most people go searching for their entire lives for.. love AND friendship. The bond that these two share is that of best friends, family that would do anything for each other. TJ is a protector, provider, fiercely loyal and loves Lauren deeply. Lauren respects TJ, leans on him for guidance and has been safe enough to flourish as a partner, a woman, and a soon to be step-mom.
The two of them truly feel that they were meant to find each other. God was looking out in a major way!
Countdown to "I Do"
Fast forward, TJ and Lauren are almost to the big day! Making this commitment does not come lightly and is held in the highest regard. It is an honor of a lifetime to come together as one under God, and they cannot wait to celebrate their love with you all!
