There are a multitude of things to explore in and around Denver. Here's a list of must-see attractions while you're here.
The iconic music venue is only 20 mins from downtown Denver. Check out the stunning views and stage any time of the day (you can go even when there isn't a show!). And do not miss the free museum there either.
The home of the Colorado Rockies! Located in the heart of Downtown Denver, this professional baseball stadium is an iconic landmark of the Mile High City. There's great food, great views, great baseball, and, of course, Coors beer. We hope that you will be able to join us the day after the wedding for the Rockies vs. Giants game. Our group tickets are sold out, but there may be tickets available on re-sale sites. We will be in section 402!
Looking for something a little weird? This immersive art exhibit is just that. Go for an hour or three, it's easy to get lost exploring this "other world". Be sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time.
The original train station is still running in Denver, it's just gotten bit of a face lift in the last few years. Check out the shops and restaurants here. And there's a farmer's market here on Saturdays!
One of the best parts of living in Colorado is the access to nature, hiking and just getting outside. Here's a list of a few of our favorites hikes nearby.
This popular trail near Idaho Springs is considered a moderate/easy 2.4 mile out-and-back hike, which leads you to gorgeous views of a lake and glacier. As we like to call it, it's the lowest effort/highest reward hike.
The North Table Loop is the best way to see Golden, CO. There is a steep hill at the beginning to get your heart racing, but then the rest is smooth sailing. Stay on the Tilting Mesa loop for 3.2 miles, or stick to the outer loop for a 7 mile hike. Then head on over to The Golden Mill in downtown Golden for lunch and a drink after.
Continental Divide Overlook via Fowler To Rattlesnake Gulch Loop
If you're looking for views, take this 7.2 loop hike near Boulder. This is one of our favorite trails when we're looking to get a sweat in.
Enjoy this easy 1.5 mile loop around the one and only Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO. This relaxing loop is perfect for out-of-towners getting acclimated to the altitude.
This one could go on and on and on, but here are some of the places that top our list.
