Trae and Samantha meet during college at SIUE. Both of them were in Greek life during college. Shortly after Sam moved back to Edwardsville post covid (Fall 2021), she was determined to be more involved in her sorority. She decided to go to a mixer with one of the frats on campus. The one that Trae just so happened to be in. After the mixer Trae reached out and invited Sam to his fraternity’s informal dance as their first “date” where they took this picture. After dating for several months they decided to make it official on 2/22/22, hence the wedding date ❤️

Some of Trae and Sam’s favorite things to do together are hiking, building legos, traveling, and doing new things! They love a good date night in, but also really enjoy finding new places to eat or activities to try, such as going to the botanical gardens or mini golf. They have also learned how to actually golf together! Their love of traveling has taken many places far and near - some pictures of these places are included below. Their other favorite thing is Sam’s dog Mono.
