Lauri is the "Lucy Ricardo" of the family, and as such, she has always run the show and is getting herself into the wildest antics. For example, at her son's wedding, she recruited 20 people to flash mob dance the newlyweds just to prove a point. But she won't do that this time!

Raul is a keen Relationship Manager both in and out of work, building lasting friendships wherever he goes! He's an avid ping pong player and expert holiday home decorator, as well as the only person in the world allowed to call Tami "Princess".

Verna is the mother of Brad, Laura, Ryan, and Tyler, grandmother of Peyton, Lauren, and Olivia, and is the best quiltmaker in the world! She manages a local craft and fabric store in Ventura, which supplies her with the materials she needs for her numerous projects. Tyler definitely gets his love for travel and creativity from his mom!

Chris taught his son everything he knows about golfing, being Polish, and working hard. He worked as an accountant and controller for an aerospace company for over 25 years, but now you can catch him riding down the beach with Verna on their e-bikes! Proudly representing "Joysey" (New Jersey)!

Lydia is wife to Tony, mother to Raul, Melanie, and Rick, and grandmother to Wesley, Tami, Caitlin, Haley, and Devin. She has the memory of a locked steel vault and passed down her collegiate magna cum laude status to Tami.

Tony is the Chipeco family's world traveler who will regale anyone with tales of growing up in the Philippines, working as a nuclear engineer, journeying around the globe, and falling in love with his beloved wife.

Wife of Gene, mother of Lauri, Alan, and Greg, and grandmother to Wesley, Tami, Cory, Craig, and Priscilla, Joyce comes from a large and lively family. She and Gene are active members of their Chinese benevolent association, play mahjong weekly with their friends, and have all the best connections in the Chinese restaurant scene in Alhambra.

Gene met and married Joyce here in California, served in the American Army, and worked for Blue Chip Stamps (if you can remember those). Nowadays, you can chat him up about NBA, NFL, and MLB games, though you'll have to do so very loudly as he is hard of hearing, or just text him!

Brad is Tyler's oldest sibling and lives with his wife, Brandi, in Ventura, CA. He is a middle school History teacher, experienced fisherman, and adventurous outdoorsman. We love how Brad is both wise beyond his years while maintaining a young, fun-loving spirit!

Brandi and Brad have been married for almost 20 years, and they have gone on many camping, road, and fishing trips throughout their two decades together. Brandi works as a Physical Therapist and shares her brother-in-law, Tyler's, enjoyment of fancy coffee.

Laura is Tyler's only sister and is a loving wife, English teacher, and mother to Peyton, Lauren, and Oliva. When Tyler was growing up, she introduced him to the stories of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Narnia, which always stuck with him! The Ogle family now lives on a large, open property, surrounded by nature and wildlife in Sedro-Woolley, Washington.

James has worked hard from humble beginnings and is now Laura's husband, a devoted father, and reverend at United Reformed Church in Burlington, Washington. Tyler frequently recalls during his childhood how James would play video games with him and how they'd watch movies together with Laura as well.

Ryan was Tyler's older sibling who was closest in age. He was a caring big brother who always looked out for Tyler when he was growing up, and bonded with him over golf and video games. Ryan proudly served in the military as a Marine and in the National Guard, and sadly passed away in 2015. His whole family misses their wonderful son, brother, and uncle, but we know Ryan will be with us in spirit on the big day.

Tami's Big Bro was the first of the Chipeco/Rubia/Ng kids to do it all— graduate college, get married, and have the first great-grandchild. Thanks Wes! When not working as a software engineer, he runs his "Trifecta" fantasy sports league, creates fun family travel videos, and plays in an adult softball league.

Keren is the sister Tami never had and made her the Tita (auntie) she always wanted to be! She and Wesley met at as college students at UCSD, and she has added laughter, caring thoughtfulness, and much love to the family ever since. And now they're the best parents to Baby Chipeco!

Greg is the youngest child of Gene and Joyce, married to Carolyn, and father to Cory, Craig, and Priscilla. According to his mom, he "wakes up and makes sure the wifi works for everyone", but you should probably ask him what he does for work yourself. The Ngs were missionaries in China for about 10 years, and now live in Hayward, CA.

Carolyn is the wise, calm, compassionate glue that holds the Ng family together. She and Greg proliferate their love of God and family everywhere they go, and they have successfully taught their kids to do the same.

Alan is an active member of his church community, where he met his now-wife, Carolyn! By marrying Carolyn in 2024, he has gained 3 step-children and 2 step-grandkids, and his sense of loyalty is demonstrated by being a Honda employee for over 30 years.

We thought our family was big, but adding Carolyn's family tree dwarfs the numbers we had before! She is a mother and grandmother to a large, lively, and fun bunch who has lovingly accepted Alan into their family. We are grateful for their journey together!

Rick is the dependable and generous uncle to Wesley, Tami, Caitlin, Haley, and Devin. He works diligently in his career (with a whopper of a commute) and faithfully takes care of his parents, Tony and Lydia. Rick also travels to the Philippines yearly for his solo vacations to visit family and upkeep Chipeco properties.

Melanie is a devoted wife, mother, daughter, auntie, teacher, and the chef de cuisine of the Chipeco-Rubia fam. She whips up appetizers, soups, salads, barbecue, fish, chicken, noodles, and desserts for most of our family gatherings, which we are so grateful for!

Joe is a longtime employee of the FAA, habitual golfer, dad of 3 kids, and one time he and Tami mistook a container of gravy for soup and drank the whole thing together out of delirious hunger.

Peyton is a junior in Biola's Torrey Honors program, following in his mom's footsteps. He is an RA and is currently studying to become a Science teacher. He easily stands out in any crowd due to his tall stature and energetic personality!

Lauren is the oldest daughter in the Ogle family. As a high schooler, she loves to sing and is a tremendous performer, to no one's surprise! While she is a multitalented individual on stage, she needs a bit more practice behind the wheel.

Olivia is the youngest artist in the family, sharing her love for drawing and creativity with her uncle Tyler. As a middle school student, she enjoys expressing herself through art and is always sketching something new. Olivia's passion for creativity shines through in everything she does, and it's exciting to see another budding artist in the family!

Welcomed into the world on November 3rd, 2024!

Cory, the avid Star Wars and anime fan, just married the love of his life, Kristin, in June 2024! The Ng kids grew up in NorCal alongside the Yoshiokas, and even when living in China, Cory and Kristin's bond was never broken, leading up to their marriage today!

Kristin is officially the newest to join the Ng family, but she's actually been a member her whole life. Her marriage to Cory is a testament to building a deep friendship as the foundation of a strong partnership and marriage—a testament that Tyler and Tami also know well!

Craig is the middle Ng kid who spread his wings and took off to Chicago from California for college, and eventually landed a tech job in Seattle with Amazon! Mr. Independent loves his church community, the many friends he's made throughout his life, and good food.

Priscilla is currently a student at Chabot College in Hayward, CA studying photography. She has a passion for music, loves animals (both real and stuffies), enjoys swimming, and is a great friend those around her!

Caitlin and Tami are the closest cousins in age, being born just 16 hours apart, and don't mind sharing their themed birthday celebrations. Caitlin is the willful eldest Rubia kid, the mother to 1 dog, 2 tortoises, and 2 lizards, hard-working software engineer, and a talented gift-giver!

Haley is the caring future vet that all of us animal lovers in the family are rooting for! She is currently in her 2nd year of the University of Minnesota's Veterinarian program. She has many wild stories from her program—let's just say she's seen the depths of many animals that the rest of us will never have to. Thank God for vets!

Devin, the "bunso" (youngest son) of the Rubia family, is currently studying Urban Planning at Cal Poly Pomona. He's also hooked on rock climbing and bouldering! So you can find him "sending it" at his local gym, on infamous boulders in Palm Springs, or in another spot where people scale treacherous rocks.

Jose and Caitlin have been together for over 10 years! His loyalty and hundreds of shared memories with Caitlin and her family has earned him the honorary "Rubia Kid" status. He is a dedicated chauffeur, loving dog dad, generous boba supplier, and trusted pet sitter!
