Walter and Tami began their story many, many years ago during freshman year of high school when they were just 14 years old. It's hard to pin point the exact day they met but were introduced to each other through their best friend's who happened to be dating at the time!

After being introduced, Walter and Tami didn't spend too long as the "single friends" as sparks flew! They began dating but didn't know at the time they were writing the beginning of their forever story.

After dating for half of their time in high school, Walter and Tami decided to go their separate ways. But chapters were still being written.

The years pass with Walter and Tami moving into adulthood creating lives of their own but occasionally speaking to one another through social media with nothing more than the typical small talk.

Nearly 15 years after last seeing each other in person, that same small talk turned into more meaningful conversations and a "first date" at a drive in movie theatre.

From that night on, the stars were aligned for Walter and Tami to continue the love story that started when they were just teenagers.

On June 4th 2023, Walter and Tami took their family to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland, to enjoy a fun summer day! Little did Tami know it would be full of more than just Disney magic!

Walter, Tami, and the kids were enjoying all the Disneyland rides, food, and character photo ops every chance they could. Throughout the day, they kept passing the iconic Sleeping Beauty's Castle a few times without stopping to take a family photo. Walter kept mentioning they would come back when there were less crowds and a smaller line for photos.

Later that night, it was time for the beautiful fireworks show taking place on Main Street in front of the castle. Tami took the older kids to quickly grab food while Walter and their littlest went to save spots for the show. As the show was approaching Tami was being ushered by Walter to quickly get back before the show started. Tami didn't know it at the time, but Walter was coordinating the big moment of the evening.

Tami and the kids got back just in time for the show to begin. The family was enjoying the music and stunning fireworks show when Walter told everyone, "alright we need to go" and started leading the way up to the front of the crowd towards a group of Disneyland cast members positioned off to the side of the Castle. At this time, Tami was confused as to why they needed to move to this spot where they finished watching the last minute of the fireworks.

Once the show was over, a cast member came over to the family to explain that Walter and Tami were "randomly selected for a couples photo session in front of the Castle, which they offer to couples that are scouted out by team members every day." Walter and Tami were then guided over to the roped off area in front of the Castle with one of the Disney photographers.

Walter and Tami spoke with the photographer for a minute and then began their "photo session." The photographer posed them in several different positions before having Walter step aside to take individual pictures of Tami. She had her pose in a couple of pictures and then asked her to face the Castle and put up "heart hands" with her looking back over her shoulder at the camera.

Once the photographer told Tami that she got the shot, Tami turned around to see Walter on his knee holding a stunning engagement ring. The next few moments were pure love and magic!

Tami was in complete shock and the tears began to flow! Hugs and kisses were exchanged and Walter then asked Tami to marry him! She said YES!

It was at this point, that they realized there were a hundred or so people watching along with Disneyland cast members who all began to cheer and clap!

Walter had organized their kids off to the side of the Castle to watch and capture the whole event on video!

After several moments of hugging, kissing and jumping for joy, the entire family took photos to remember this perfect night!
