broke down on my wedding day, leaving my guests and my bridal party stranded to and from our ceremony... They told my wedding planner that they could not come get us and they were sorry for the inconvenience.. The show went on.. but I called the next week and spoke to a nice gentleman named Wes. (who you will book through) He apologized to me and my wedding planner (Knot Too Shabby Events- they are seriously the best) and promised a FULL REFUND of my $650 dollars. Obviously, I was elated.. However, since then I have reached out to Wes multiple times and even spoke to his manager Shannon on the phone, who also promised they would mail me a check right away. I have now reached out to them about once a month if not more asking for my refund as promised.. but they are obviously avoiding my calls, texts and requests. I would never blast anyone on a site like this, but this to me is just ridiculous bad business, I've tried to be polite and professional in all my emails/texts but it has gotten me no where- so bottom line.. I dont want anyone else to go through this annoying process. Just a heads up, I know transportation is a really important part of your day.. just go with a good ethical and honest company and NOT Wilmington Trolley Co.

They agreed but multiple emails/calls later and have not heard a word back. TERRIBLE customer service. Again DO NOT USE! We used Cape Fear Limo for our bridal party and they were awesome!

ocated to our group though the owner claims otherwise. We tipped them a large amount early in the day and asked them to put away the tip jars. They left the tip jars out all day. An example of unprofessional service. The trolleys were very late picking up guests from the hotel to the point that many took cars and ubers resulting in a cost to many of the guests. Another example of poor service. One of the trolleys had the door held closed by a bungee cord. Also, one of the guests slipped on the top step injuring his knee and shoulder. A couple examples of poor condition of the equipment. Only 2 trolleys picked up from the church. The wedding party was stranded for 45 minutes resulting in missing a good portion of the reception. The owner was unreachable throughout the day. He would not answer phone calls from the wedding party. We were only able to reach him when we called from one of the driver's phone. After the day, we wrote him with these concerns and he never got back to us. In conclusion, it appears we are not the only party that has had serious issues with this company. They are unprofessional, not timely, give poor customer service, use equipment in poor condition, and, in our opinion, never provided 3 trolleys simultaneously to our group. I strongly recommend finding another company to use for your party. Do not waste your time or money dealing with a poorly run business.

torming when our outdoor ceremony was supposed to start, so our start time had to be pushed back by about an hour. The trolley was flexible and waited for the "all-clear" to transport our guests to the beach. Our guests had a great time riding the trolley and it was the most economical way to arrange for their transportation.

party to the wedding because he refused to drive over 5mph. I was behind the trolley in a car trying to go 5 blocks and it took 20 minutes. That is only where it begun. Sweet Corn had NO IDEA where he was going. We obviously gave the trolley company instructions prior to the event and he didnt even know what he was supposed to be doing. On multiple occasions we asked him to start turning the trolley around while we stopped for pics(because that alone would take 10 minutes) and he wouldnt do it. The reception venue is an 8 minute drive from the wedding cereomy and it no joke took 35 minutes to get there. We were late for out own reception and missed out on the band we paid for because they couldnt start before we got there and wouldnt play past midnight. Sweet corn was stopping at intersections where there was no stop sign, would not accelorate over 10mph and was EXTREMELY rude to the passengers. A wedding is supposed to be a fun time, not a time when everyone is uncomfortable. We could not listen to the music we wanted to listen to and the lights had to remain off. My 6 year old neice was even yelled at for having a green light up necklace on 3 rows away from him because he could not "See". If he cannot see he should not be driving the trolley. He made everyone uncomfortable and was the absolutle worst part of the evening. Do not hire sweet corn unless you want to go on a historical tour and have 3 days to do it!

ad wasn't working very well and when they told us they were switching the trolley during the ceremony, we got back on after to find that it was the same trolley and the air still wasn't working properly. The driver was very nice on the day of but it was difficult to talk to management before the big day. I sent several emails and phone calls that went unanswered. Overall, cute idea and fun for photos but not worth the price.
