Molly’s mother pitched in her culinary skills for the reception, whipping up a three-tiered rendition of her signature carrot cake, which had featured at many birthday parties and weddings. “There was so much cake that the bottom layer didn’t even get cut into,” says Molly. “But it did make for fabulous leftovers!” Each layer was decorated with ivory buttercream with the top and bottom tiers featuring clusters of fresh pink and white blooms.
