In the late winter months of 2024, our lives crossed paths and we existed first as friends and as Jacob says Amy was his “sounding board” as he navigated starting a new chapter in this crazy thing we call life. We grew closer together over time, talking and seeing each other as much as possible. We bonded over loving similar things like traveling, going north for the weekend, spending time on the water during the MN summers, watching Sunday football, a nice cold beer or glass of Prosecco, and so many more things! We truly became best friends before anything else and the greatest gift of all, is that we ultimately fell in love! Everything that has happened thus far, we truly believe has been God’s plan. He has sent us the most beautiful and unbelievable signs, that at times have left us speechless throughout the last year. We know we are the lucky one’s and beyond blessed that he is in our corner, protecting our love and knowing he believes in us. We find ourselves looking at each other saying “it’s a sign!” more often than not, and we can’t help but smirk at each other when those times happen! This next chapter is called WE DESERVE THIS, because we do. WE deserve every itty bit of it! We came across this message last winter and it has become a beautiful reminder of just how much beauty and happiness can come after struggle.
