Believe it or not, Kaela and Nick have known each other since middle school! They both attended the same middle and high school, but it wasn’t until the summer before 2020 that their paths truly crossed again. That summer, both of their graduating classes met up at Ott’s in Medford before heading back to college. Kaela and Nick chatted briefly that night—but that small conversation sparked something more. After Kaela returned to school for her senior year, she started hearing that Nick had been asking about her. Soon after, he reached out. The two kept in touch long-distance, but when Covid unexpectedly brought Kaela home from college, they finally had the chance to reconnect in person. From that moment on, they’ve been inseparable.
