We met at the University of La Crosse in Wisconsin, where our paths crossed in a way we never saw coming. What began as small talk over shared classes and campus events quickly turned into hours of talking, laughing, and getting to know each other.

As the weeks went by, we found ourselves spending more time together, whether it was studying, grabbing coffee, or just exploring the little corners of campus. We were drawn together by our shared love music-- Brandon playing saxophone, Julie playing trumpet-- as well as our interest in movies and spending time outdoors.

What started as a friendship soon blossomed into something deeper, and before long, we realized we were more than just classmates. We became partners, supporting each other through the ups and downs of college life—balancing school, work, and everything in between.

Our love continued to grow after college. We moved into our first shared apartment in 2018, then after Brandon's graduation in 2019 moved to Rochester, Minnesota where we have lived ever since. We survived the uncertainty of the pandemic and came out stronger than ever, getting engaged at our annual Rotary Lights trip in December 2022.

Along the way we added our feline companions Thomas and Callie, who were ecstatic when we bought our first home together in October 2023.

Through all the movie nights, trips to Duluth, hiking & camping trips, concerts, and brewery tours we are so excited to continue the adventures together as husband and wife!
