It all started in summer of 2007. David and Aaliyah called themselves boyfriend and girlfriend. Our parents would take us to each others homes to "hang out". Somewhere along the line, we parted ways and lost touch. We grew and learned from previous relationships what we really wanted and needed in a spouse.

Late January 2022 David found Aaliyah, again! David professed his love and willing to settle with Aaliyah and from there a life was built. From dinner dates at Chilis or Wednesday Wine Down dates at Newby's, Aaliyah grew an attraction to David. We talked about marriage and children and what we want our future to look like. We knew we loved each other with our whole hearts. We loved each other so much, we decided to have a baby. We found out about our baby boy the day before Thanksgiving and surprised our family on Thanksgiving day of 2022 with the announcement of pregnancy.

January 1, 2023 , David knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Aaliyah, he made one of the biggest decisions of his life. He proposed to Aaliyah with family and friends as a witness. What a joyous evening that was.

Our son, Dakota Isaiah, born July 28, 2023 at 6:31pm via cesarean became the perfect addition to the little family we are creating. Through ups and downs, learning how to parent, we knew we still loved each other. So, we are happy to share the rest of our lives together, officially September 21, 2024.
