Our Wedding

Our story began in 2019 at a friend's wedding, where we were both last-minute invitees. We became friends and bonded over the llamas at the venue. As the years went by, Aaron and Vania's friendship continued to flourish. He would visit Las Vegas frequently, and she knew exactly when he was in town because he would always give her a call. Eventually, their deep connection blossomed into something more meaningful. Shortly after, Aaron invited Vania to a knights hockey game in celebration of their birthday. Unbeknownst to her, it was actually a date. With the help of Esau, they had an unforgettable and enjoyable time. A few weeks later, Vania hopped on a plane to SEA with her jeans and a cardigan. After a couple awkward rounds of mini golf, they went to grab dinner. For dessert, Aaron had made arrangements with the manager to ask Vania to be his girlfriend. The server brought out a platter of desserts with the words “Will you be my Girlfriend?” Written in chocolate.Fun fact : Aaron was so nervous that he forgot to verbally ask her. Over the next few months, they traveled across the country, meeting each other's families and becoming deeply involved in each other's lives. They cherished every moment spent together and made sure to introduce each other to the people who held a special place in their hearts. In December, Vania and her parents flew out to Seattle to ring in the new year with a special dinner and plans to watch the dazzling fireworks display at the iconic Space Needle. Aaron had other plans in mind. .. On December 30th, 2023, with a clueless girlfriend, they made their way up to a hotel rooftop. As the sun set, Aaron got down on one knee and asked Vania to be his wife. She was overwhelmed with emotion and said yes, making it a night they would never forget. They spent the rest of the evening celebrating their love and future together. The next day, they shared the news with their friends and family and began planning their wedding. They couldn't wait to spend the rest of their lives together. On May 4th, they will be tying the knot and starting a new chapter in their love story. They are excited to share this special moment with their loved ones and look forward to a lifetime of happiness together.

I love my dog and hubby! I’m a nuclear engineer by profession, a gardener wannabe, I always have a song in my head, and I daydream of being a full-time house wife. I’m most excited about seeing my beloved friend marry her forever best friend.

I’m excited seeing Vania’s Pinterest wedding board become reality. Such a bittersweet moment and I’m honored to be apart of it all.

Fun Fact: My middle toe is super long. It’s pretty gross. My 2 daughters also have my feet. #LongToeGang. Favorite hobby: Golfing with da homies. I’m most excited about watching Jace and Emmanuel pull out weird dance moves, they both can’t dance. In all seriousness, just happy to be apart of the big day. It’s gonna be so lit.

The Pike Place Market has been a defining Seattle icon for more than a century. Considered by many “the soul of Seattle,” the Market spans nine historic acres in the center of downtown where everyday locals and tourists alike shop, visit, eat and discover. Founded in 1907, the Market is one of the oldest and largest continuously operating public markets in the United States and is brought to life by the hundreds of farmers, crafters, small businesses, and residents that call it “home”.

Pike Place Market

This diverse and active half day tour features the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, with two cascading waterfalls, a 2-hour moderate hike through an old growth forest, a visit to a historic logging town, and a stunning lake reflecting the surrounding mountains. We'll visit the verdant Ollalie Sate Park with Twin Falls and Upper Falls, the towns of North Bend and Snoqualmie, as well as the legendary 270-foot tall Snoqualmie Falls.

Sky View Observatory in downtown Seattle is the ideal first stop on your visit to the Emerald City. Here you can map out your entire Pacific Northwest experience! Sky View is located on the 73rd floor of Columbia Center. At 902 feet, it offers the tallest public viewing area in the Pacific Northwest. The 360-degree panoramic view includes Mt. Rainier, Bellevue, the Cascade Mountains, Mt. Baker, Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains, the Space Needle and the city of Seattle.

Sky View Observatory - Columbia Center

This must-see museum exhibits creative and colorful blown glass sculptures of renowned artist Dale Chihuly. Eight indoor galleries and lush landscaped gardens feature a mix of new and past significant works. They are awe-inspiring whether you visit during the day, or in the evening when the sculptures are lit up. The highlight here is a 100-foot-long glass sculpture suspended in a glass conservatory—one of his largest ever. Located at the base of the iconic Space Needle, you might want to buy a combined ticket for cost savings or get a Seattle City Pass.

Chihuly Garden and Glass

Walking along the Seattle Waterfront is a perfect way to soak up some Northwest atmosphere. Take in views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains while exploring Olympic Sculpture Park, the Seattle Aquarium, shops, and restaurants like Ivar’s, a local landmark, where you can watch the ferries load and depart while you eat.
