Once upon a time, or more accurately, on Bumble, Heidi came across a photo of a kind-eyed man and his gentle greyhound, Odin. Having had her own greyhounds, Heidi knew Aaron was someone she could trust. Their first date was as unique as their connection: an afternoon at the Science Museum of Minnesota, exploring the Exquisite Creatures exhibition before heading to Parlour Bar. Somewhere between racing each other (and a T. rex) in the Sportsology exhibition where Heidi tripped (and fell for Aaron) and laughing at Aaron’s endearing Gollum impressions, Heidi knew she’d found someone special.

From that day forward, their bond grew through shared passions; late-night Dota 2 matches, adventures with their pets, and a sense of humor that always kept things light. Many adventures and new shared interests later, Aaron proposed the day before his birthday at Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder, turning their favorite part of an annual trip into the beginning of their forever story.
