You have questions...we have answers!
Will all meals be provided?
We will be hosting an optional casual welcome bbq (just bring a beverage!) on Friday evening and a more formal reception dinner on Saturday evening! You will see both dates on the online RSVP along with a spot to put any allergens (our caterer is very accommodating!). Please respond to both so we can plan accordingly!
Where do I park?
Our venue has free on-site parking and there will be signs to direct you. Please reference the map below! You are allowed to leave your vehicle overnight (if you plan on drinking, we encourage you to utilize uber!) but it must be picked up by 10am on Sunday.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking, mingling, and finding your seat.
Will there be an open bar?
For the wedding reception on Saturday, HECK YES! Beer, Wine, and Seltzers are on us all night. Cocktails are on us during cocktail hour!! After dinner, cocktails are available for purchase.
Friday night is a canoe party! If you are drinking, we would love if you brought your beverage of choice to add to the canoe. We will fill the canoe full of ice and you can stick with what you brought or try something new!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
If you couldn't guess based on Peyton's profession, we have hired an epic photographer and videographer to capture our day. These photos and videos will certainly be shared! With that being said, we are having a strict unplugged ceremony. We ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us! Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us! #campchristensen
What if it rains at camp?
Camp Elsewhere has got us covered...literally! The reception will be under a tent regardless. The only thing that will change is the ceremony will be moved inside to the onsite chapel.
As for the friday night cookout, the camp rec hall will be a great location for hanging out, watching movies, and playing games in the event of rain.
What is the dress code?
Typical summer wedding attire recommended. The wedding color palette is below if you wanted to wear something earth toned (no white dresses or jeans please!) or along these lines, but it is not required. Feel free to dress to impress & channel your 70's camp vibe!
Can I bring a guest, my kids, or a plus one?
We are striving for a very intentional and intimate gathering to enjoy with our loved ones. With this being said, we are not extending invites to names not on the invitation or rsvp portal on this site. Please reach out if you have any questions!
When is the RSVP deadline
Please RSVP via this website by May 20th, 2024! If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend. Our vendors need an accurate guest count so we will unfortunately be unable to accept late RSVP's
What do I do if I can't make it?
You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible/ RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
