Our Story

Andrea - Aaron

If you ask Andrea: We met when we were sophomores in Algebra or some math class. Aaron was the class clown (Of course) and started a conversation by stealing pretty much all my pencils. I don't know if he thought it was funny but they were the good mechanical pencils so I will forever hold him to it. One day he asked me if he could copy my test and I felt bad so I said yes as long as he didn't copy it exactly. Surprise, he copied it exactly.....So we got caught. I didn't have to retake the test he did though. Anyways, we became friends and talked a lot and I eventually somehow became his wing woman??? He wanted to talk to a friend at the time, so I introduced them. When that didn't work out I thought it was finally my chance. WRONG. Lol, anyways we ended up losing contact until Senior year in 2016. Once we reconnected, we started talking every day after that. It was during homecoming season, so he actually had Ricardo go buy me Wingstop and Aaron asked me to homecoming on our last class period. The rest is kinda our love journey. 7 years together, 2 years living in two different cities, many arguments but just as many understanding and forgiving talks after. I definitely believe what is meant to be will be and for that I am so thankful God blessed me with a man like Aaron.

If you ask Aaron: Our story began in 10th grade algebra class where I purposefully asked Andrea to borrow a pencil (I had my own I just wanted to talk to her). She continued to let me borrow pencils and eventually we became friends outside of the classroom. We talked for months and ultimately became best friends, during this time she helped me on several occasions date other girls (she claims she was my wing woman but in reality I was just scared to make a move on her). Time passed I didn't strike in time and we went our separate ways for a while. Fast forward to the beginning of senior year we began to talk again and started off where we left off. We were still both "uninterested" in dating and were just trying to enjoy senior year before going off to college (obviously did not go as expected). Homecoming came around and I found out she was probably going with someone else and decided I wouldn't let history repeat itself again so I asked her to go with me. Soon after we began dating and I asked her to be my girlfriend and the rest is history. Why it took 7 years for me to pop the question is still a mystery but one thing is certain, during this time we really began to understand God's plan for our lives and matured in love, patience, and forgiveness.
