Q + A

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Due to the nature of this being a destination wedding, we kindly ask that you RSVP no later than March 6, 2024.

Can I bring a Plus One?

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally addressed on your save the date.

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones! However, due to space limitations, our wedding will be adults only. We encourage all our guests to make a vacation out of our big day. If applicable to you, please allow any grandparents/aunts/uncles/friends to spend some time with your little ones on the island or back home while you enjoy a parents-only night out or vacation!

I haven't received a formal invitation to the wedding after receiving the save the date, is this correct?

Yes! In an effort to be better friends with the environment, you will receive an email from the same one you provided us on the contact information form with a virtual invitation. Stay tuned - it's coming!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held outdoors. However, we know that Hawaiian weather can be unpredictable, so there will be a tent for the reception. There will also be a small open air pavilion within walking distance of our festivities you can find shade or cover in.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly request for a completely UNPLUGGED ceremony. We have our amazing friend, Jackie Fiero Photography, taking photos of this special moment for us so please allow her to do her job and you enjoy! We know the scenery of Hawaii is stunning, but you will have all pre and post ceremony to take as many photos as you'd like. We hope you will respect this wish of ours!

How do I get to the venue?

We have arranged bus transportation to and from Kualoa Ranch. For more details on that, please see the "Day Of" tab on our site. Additionally, our wedding is being held at a venue where many movies are being filmed and tours are actively happening. Once you arrive to Kualoa Ranch via our bus transportation or your own method of transportation, you will be directed to the open air pavilion to socialize, use facilities if needed, and take in the views until our amazing wedding planners guide you to our ceremony location. During this time before the ceremony, sit back, relax, and take lots of pictures - welcome, to Jurassic Park!

Is there parking at the venue?

If you choose to opt out of our bus transportation, you can absolutely utilize your own (rental car, Uber, Lyft, carpool) to Kualoa Ranch. There is parking available directly next to Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch. We do not recommend taking an Uber or Lyft, if possible - Kualoa is on a quiet side of the island where those services might be harder to come by later in the evening. If anything, please feel free to Uber/Lyft to the ranch and utilize our transportation or carpool back to the Waikiki side of the island.

Where should I stay?

We highly recommend staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort (this is also where the couple will be staying). You can find more information about the hotel and booking in the "Travel" tab of our site, along with other great hotel and resort recommendations. If you need assistance with planning your hotel or trip as a whole, please reach out to Denise from Keys to the Castle Travel - her information can be found under the same tab as listed above.

I have a food allergy and/or dietary restriction. What should I do?

When you RSVP, please indicate your allergy and/or dietary restriction so we can plan accordingly. We will make sure to provide you with a safe (yet still tasty) meal!
