Once a year, for just one magical week, the gates of this group would open, and young women could post their dating profiles in hopes of finding their match. That year, Yiska Chana decided—perhaps a little nervously, but with quiet hope—to give it a try. She crafted her post, pressed “share,” and let fate do the rest. Not long after, a message appeared. It was from a woman named&nbsp;Danielle Wood, who introduced herself as a friend—and, as it turned out, the sister of someone who might just be a match. She asked if she could pass along Yiska Chana’s number. Yiska agreed, thinking little of it, not yet knowing how life was about to change. A few days later, her phone rang. On the line was a familiar voice:&nbsp;Rabbi Feld from Silver Spring. As they began to talk, Yiska’s eyes widened—she&nbsp;knew&nbsp;this voice! It was her&nbsp;fifth-grade Navi teacher, of all people. And the person he was calling about? A young man named&nbsp;Aaron, who had been just a year below her in school. What were the chances? With laughter, surprise, and a sense of bashert in the air, the two decided to give it a try. Life, of course, wasn’t without its challenges—busy work schedules, miles of highway between them, and the daily rush of responsibility—but somehow, through every phone call, every visit, and every shared moment, they made it work. And somewhere between those long drives and late-night conversations, friendship turned into love, and love into forever. Because sometimes, all it takes is one leap of faith, one kind sister, and one long-lost Navi teacher to bring two hearts together. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Formal modest wedding attire is requested. Formal wedding attire is slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and a touch less dressy than black-tie. It is also known as black-tie optional. Ankle-length dresses and dressy separates are acceptable- wear the hemline you feel most comfortable with! Fitted, darker-hued suits paired with a crisp white button-down and tie are just as acceptable as a more formal tux, if that’s how you want to roll.Please adhere to an elevated standard of modest dressing when choosing an outfit. Hemlines should fall below the knee, necklines should cover cleavage, and tops and dresses should have sleeves.
