We were going to church together for 6 months and talked a handful of times. I went back home to Arizona for Christmas and the day I got back, I went on Mutual (Mormon dating app) and Aaron was the first guy I saw. I swiped up and we didn’t match so I thought that was the end of it. Little did I know he ended up matching with me later on and going out of his way to get my number from our church ward’s website! A couple hours later I get a text from an unknown number saying “Hey Erinn, it’s Aaron! We matched on Mutual.” We went on our first date that weekend and have pretty much been inseparable ever since. I still give him a hard time for not asking me out until he saw we matched but then again I didn’t either. God’s timing is perfect and we couldn’t be happier that we trusted in it.
