Allie moved to Marshfield from La Crescent to start a job as a dietitian, and Aaron had just moved back to the area from Madison for medical school rotations. They moved into the same apartment building and met a week later. They were inseparable since then, sharing a kitchen wall between their two apartments.

After 6 months of dating, they had the "we're dating, right?" conversation.

They are always laughing together

or hiking

or going on some sort of adventure.

After 1.5 years of being the boy next door, Aaron & Allie got their first apartment together.

There have been many fake proposals since then.

Building a life together has been so fun.

There have been many sporting events attended

and holidays celebrated.

Before PA school started for Allie, they traveled to Florida

& Washington.

Then Aaron graduated medical school.

They celebrated and prepared for their move across the country.

In the meantime, they ran a half and full marathon.

They've loved exploring the mountains of North Carolina

& waterfalls

& the other fun things Asheville has to offer.

Allie got (really) sad when she had to go back to North Dakota for school and rotations. Aaron stayed busy with work but Facetimed every night.

She visited as much as possible.

After a long 8 months of distance, Allie finally got to move back to Asheville

& Aaron picked out a ring.

Aaron knows how much Allie loves fall and a good hike, so he planned to propose on one of their favorites. It was and always will be the easiest yes.
