We have chosen for our wedding to take place in the beautiful town of Invermere, B.C. Nestled between two iconic mountain ranges: The Purcell Mountains and The Rocky Mountains, Invermere is a small community in the awe-inspiring Columbia Valley. We can't wait to share this little slice of paradise with you.
HOW TO GET HERE
FLYING ✈️
The two closest airports to Invermere are Calgary YYC (3.5 hours away) and Cranbrook YXC (1.5 hours away).
Both offer car rentals from the airport, however Cranbrook has domestic flights only, so to get there you will have to transfer through Calgary or Vancouver.
DRIVING 🚗 From Calgary
If you land in Calgary, you can hire a car and drive through Kootenay National Park to get to the venue. There are many scenic spots to stop and look around when driving through, such as the town of Banff, and Marble Canyon! You will also pass through the stunning Kootenay National Park for one hour of the drive. Please note that there is no cell service or gas stations whilst driving through Kootenay National Park.
DRIVING 🚗 From Cranbrook
If you are driving from Cranbrook, you will drive North up the expansive Columbia Valley. You can make a visit to the town of Kimberley, or stop in Fairmont Hot Springs on your way. Please note that the cell service is inconsistent throughout this journey.
