The Story of Aaron and Raiven

Aaron

What has always characterized our relationship was a mutual love for Christ and intentionality with each other. We met during the midst of the Corona Virus pandemic in June of 2020 and I fell in love with Raiven very shortly after. What drew me to her most was her kindness and love towards her family, friends, and the Lord. The first time I ever laid eyes on her was at a Jimmy Johns in Canton where we decided to eat together at a nearby park and she wouldn't let me take the food because she was afraid of me poisoning her. When we arrived at the park she brought out a board game from her car that she had gotten from a recent missionary trip in India and destroyed me completely. When I saw her confidence and her smile I was smitten. Given that I couldn't just let her leave like that I asked her out on another date immediately. Shortly after I met her parents in what was one of the most nerve racking days of my life and we became official. Together we've gone through a lot of ups and downs but God continues to bring us together. We'd like you to celebrate this huge milestone in our journey with us as we begin the next part of the rest of our lives.

Raiven

We met on the interwebs in the summer of 2020 per standard Covid fashion. I slid in Aaron's messages because I thought he was related to a guy I had a crush on in high school ( he was not lol). We started talking and Aaron was a speedy boy, I'm pretty sure he asked me on a date the first day we matched. I thought it was kind of sketch but I didn't want to be in the house anymore so I thought I'd risk it for the biscuit. We talked about everything under the sun all week leading up to our first date. I still wasn't convinced he wasn't a murderer though so I told my friend to call me an hour into the date just to be sure. Turns out he was in fact not a murderer, he was actually super sweet and super nervous. I thought he was pretty nice and he asked me on a second date so I said yeah. We were getting along so well though I didn't want to wait until our next date to see him again so I think we met up again 2 days later. I did all the talking on our first 2 dates and he's gonna do all the talking for the rest of our relationship so I think it works pretty well.

Despite the mass amount of dad jokes and bad puns I send him on a daily basis he still thinks I'm worth keeping around. And I think he's pretty worth it too(: From our 1st date until now Aaron has constantly impressed me with His love for the Lord, his character, and his patience (and admittedly I require a lot of patience lol). And I appreciate the way that in everything he always encourages me to trust in God and look for God in it. Now I can look forward to seeking and serving the Lord alongside him for the rest of our lives! (pretty sick right?)
