Aaron and Rosie first met as coworkers, working at a student job in the Tulane University Athletics Department. A friendship quickly grew, and long conversations and friendly pranks drew us closer together throughout the year. On the day before Rosie went home to Maryland for the holidays, the friendship turned into a first date, then a first kiss, then the start of a whole new life together.

Just a few short weeks later, thanks to a road trip and an unexpected blizzard, Aaron found his way to Rosie's hometown of Leonardtown, Maryland. He met Rosie's parents and her sister Lizzie, went sledding, and got his first look at the beautiful area where we would eventually get married.

Rosie and Aaron returned to New Orleans, where our relationship grew as we explored the city together. A few months later, Aaron graduated and Rosie met his parents together for the first time. The O'Neill parents would soon find out about Rosie's caring nature: on the day of his graduation, Aaron broke his arm and Rosie changed her plans to help him through the surgery. With an arm on the mend and a relationship stronger than ever, we looked forward to staying in NOLA together as Aaron began graduate school.

The next two years were full of milestones. We celebrated one and two year anniversaries, took our first vacations together, and met more members of the family in San Antonio, Indianapolis, New York and more. Most importantly, we shared a home for the first time. By the time Rosie graduated, we knew we had the love of a lifetime.

We celebrated Rosie's graduation with our biggest adventure yet. We flew to Seattle, and after a few days exploring the mountains and coasts of Washington, boarded a cruise ship bound for Alaska! We had an incredible time, and came back home more in love than ever. Rosie didn't know it yet, but this trip made Aaron start thinking about a very important question...

2020 arrived, and with it, the reality of Covid-19. Rosie and Aaron decided to temporarily leave New Orleans to quarantine with Aaron's parents in Kentucky. Despite the pandemic, we had a wonderful time and used the opportunity to get outdoors more. After 6 weeks, we decided to move on to Maryland to spend an equivalent amount of time with Rosie's parents. It was a blessing to grow our relationship with our parents during these uncertain times.

In Maryland, there were plenty of things to celebrate. Rosie was accepted into graduate school at Tulane, while Aaron lined up a job that would start after he finished his own studies. In secret, Aaron and the Click parents began to build a box befitting of a beautiful family ring from Rosie's grandmother. After 6 more wonderful weeks, Aaron and Rosie returned to New Orleans...
The next year flew by, with Rosie and Aaron enjoying their engagement and beginning to plan for the big day! We reached another big milestone as we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas together for the first time. For the summer of 2021, we headed out on our next great adventure as we spent 3 months in Madison, Wisconsin and explored the Great Lakes. We returned to New Orleans just in time for a hurricane, but nothing could dampen our spirits as we looked forward to tying the knot!

As our wedding day comes closer, we know that there is no one else on the planet that we would rather say "I do" to. We have treasured every day we've spent together and we love looking back on all the memories we've made. Whatever the future holds - whether it's Rosie's PhD program, settling down in our own home, or simply spending more time with each other - we couldn't be more excited to face it together as husband and wife. And all of that starts with our wedding - we can't wait to see you all there!
