Visit the spot where we eloped! The Nelson is a beautiful (free) art museum that includes an outdoor sculpture garden and putt-putt.

If you like beer or seltzer, Boulevard is a MUST DO! Boulevard is a KC brewery that offers tours, tastings and a taproom. They have a great selection of beer and seltzers. In June, they will have their rooftop "Rec Deck" open as well!

Joe's is our go-to KC BBQ spot! I (Mary) think that it's the best around!

You've never been to Kansas City if you haven't been to The Plaza. There are blocks of walkable shopping, restaurants and more! Parking is free! Our favorite stores are Charlie Hustle and Made in KC Marketplace.

The City Market is a HUGE farmer's market in the heart of downtown Kansas City. There are tons of vendors and restaurants to explore. June will be a perfect time to check out this KC staple. Saturdays are the best day to explore!
