Our love story stands as a testament that God always has a plan for our lives, and even if our lives appear to move in a different direction, He finds a way to bring two people who are meant for one another back together perfectly in accordance with His plan.

Aaron and Emily both attended Lebanon Valley College and shared mutual friends from their time in college. After first connecting over their love for the outdoors, Aaron and Emily began dating in 2020 while Aaron was still finishing PT school and Emily was pursuing her CPA and working in public accounting. Needless to say they were both extremely busy, and they broke up in 2021 after it not working. Because Aaron and Emily had so much in common, they remained friends after they broke up and often went rock climbing together and told each other about their other adventures.

About a year later, Aaron and Emily decided to start dating again in 2022. Things immediately fell into place the second time around, and everything about Aaron and Emily clicked like it was always meant to be. Aaron introduced Emily to mountain biking, and Emily introduced Aaron to distance running. Sharing active and at times masochistic hobbies together became one of the fundamental elements of Aaron and Emily's relationship as they love to mountain bike, run, climb, ski, snowboard, hike, or pretty much any other outdoor activity.

Shortly after beginning to date again, Aaron and Emily took a trip to North Carolina to the mountain biking paradise that is Dupont and Pisgah. Not only did Aaron and Emily fall in love with the mountain biking in North Carolina on that trip, but they also fell in love with each other. Ever since then, Aaron and Emily have gone on countless trips together and even have the goal of visiting every national park in the country. They love national parks so much that they decided to make it the theme of their wedding!

Aaron proposed to Emily about 15 miles into a nearly 20 mile hike in the Loyalsock State Forest near Worlds End State Park, Emily's favorite forest and favorite place to hike. Aaron and Emily are so excited to get married and for a lifetime more of adventures together!
