Travel and Stay

There is lots of things to do in the North East, including visiting both Newcastle and Durham. However, we've added our personal favourites:

Causey ArchA gentle walk through via Tanfield Railway to the oldest surviving single-arch railway bridge in the world, Causey Arch, is the walk that got our eyes on this amazing venue. Stack - SeaburnThis is our most popular place we loved to visit on our first move to Newcastle. On the beach front, the lush drinks and food can be then flushed away with a walk by the seaside. SeasidesMarsden Beach, the dogs favourite walk, has a signature rock that you can walk through when the tide is out. It is a quiet beach that's nice and secure for a peaceful walk and has the famous The Grotto restaurant. Seahouses to Bamborough is somewhere that took our breathes away with the perfect match of countryside and coast. It is known as 'The Gateway to the Fame Islands', if you have the time to visit, it is worth it. Tynemouth Beach is one of the popular attractions in the North East. A lovely chippy and cheeky market, what more could you want. Beamish MuseumIf you fancy a bit of culture and seeing the good old North East background and history, you will love it here. 'Just gotta appreciate it!' Waskerly Way Walk and ReservoirThis a weekly walk for us. On our doorstep is the beautiful views of the countryside. Although it is a 20 minute drive from the venue, it will be one we will always visit in the future.

Things to Do

As some of you are aware, we planned to get eloped in Australia, but then we would have missed spending our special day with you special people. So instead, why not visit there on our honeymoon? Rather than gifts, and you would like to contribute, fund as little or as much as you want towards our honey-roadtrip-moon and we will take your kindness to make the memories of a lifetime!
