Once upon a wintery evening...

Over ten years ago, one Christmas day, Aaron was sitting in his local watering hole hanging out. Julie walked in with her family, whom Aaron was friends or acquainted with already, but Aaron and Julie had yet to meet prior to this evening. Finally, after a long while, Aaron and Julie happened to be at the bar next to each other, ordering a drink. They hit it off right away and had an enjoyable time until Julie's family announced they were leaving. Julie gave her "see ya later", and left the bar. After she left, Aaron realized he never got her number.

The following day, Aaron had to go to the Wipperfurth Christmas Party in Waunakee. He felt for some reason he needed to be back. He turned around and went back to the local watering hole in hopes Julie walked in. After a bit she did, and he finally got her number. They got to know each other a bit and had a Christmas drink together.

A couple of days later, Julie took off to go back to Colorado and they both continued on in separate directions for years. They kept in contact every Christmas to meet up for a Christmas drink if Julie happened to be in town. Many years passed by, and suddenly Julie and Aaron were talking about Christmas, and Julie mentioned she was coming back to WI. Julie's grandmother (Nonie) ended up with Covid and was sick, so Julie decided to come back and help her for the Winter, and then head back to Boise, Idaho where she resided. Aaron offered her a ride and picked her up from the airport knowing his intentions were to keep her in Wisconsin. (Sneaky, sneaky!)

The rest is history!

Now we get to have a Christmas drink every year for the rest of our lives! Cheers!
